My Interview on The Author Show!

I’m ecstatic to share my interview on THE AUTHORS SHOW PODCAST. Don McCauly interviews me about Painting Kuwait Violet. I mean this interview took all of 15 minutes but the prep and the behind the scenes is a lot more. For some reason I was super nervous about doing this podcast.

At one point, I had to simply restart, I’d forgotten what I wanted to say. Now I know what my guests feel sometimes when they’re talking on my own show. I mean I used the word “specifically” over seven times. 🙄 And there was so much that I didn’t say. I’d actually gotten all my bullet points ready but finally forgot all about it. But you live and learn. 😄

Don asked some serious questions that had me thinking. Why did I write this book? What was I hoping to achieve? And while I’d never really thought about why I had to really think of why.

Kuwait was where I was born and it’s where I grew up. I still consider it home. I love the place, perhaps always will.

Painting Kuwait Violet has been garnering some attention. It has some great reviews and hopefully more will follow in the future. The interview on THE AUTHOR SHOW is my first podcast interview for the book.

So you can listen to it here. It’s on for about 24 hours so listen and let me know what you think.

Can you tell my voice is dry? Or that I’m jittery? 😉 For now I’m just going to soak up the happiness and enjoy this feeling.
