Pamela Q. Fernandes is an author, doctor and medical writer. Born and raised in Kuwait, she graduated from Angeles University College of Medicine, Philippines. She completed her rural and urban internship at Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai, one of the premier hospitals of the country. Soon after that, she started her career as a medical writer and physician. Pamela is of Indo-Portuguese heritage and speaks multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tagalog, Konkani, Marathi, and Arabic.
Pamela is an advocate of preventive health, rural medicine, women’s health and tele-medicine having been active in these roles for the majority of her career in general medicine.

Pamela’s love of writing led to her first romance novella, “SEOUL-MATES” & other short stories for Quantum Fairy Tales, Laksa Media, FunDead Publications and Satin Publishing.
In 2017, she self published her Christian non-fiction for women TEN REMINDERS FOR THE SINGLE CHRISTIAN WOMAN.
For her Christian readers, she started THE CHRISTIAN CIRCLE PODCAST.
Since then, Pamela has been published by Satin Publishing, Solstice Publishing, Touchpoint Press and Inkspell Publishing.
Pamela’s first women’s fiction PAINTING KUWAIT VIOLET was released in 2018 to much critical acclaim from women interested in the Middle East. In 2019, her love for sports was allowed to shine in her sports romance series for Touchpoint Press. Her own romance series, based in Boothbay Harbor has been her latest sweet romance success.
She continues to write women’s fiction, romance and Christian non-fiction. Her latest book TEN REMINDERS FOR THE GRIEVING CHRISTIAN is a continuation of her Christian non-fiction series. You can find all her books here.

Pamela has extensive experience as a freelance medical writer. She has worked with many medical publishing houses and doctors. For pharmaceuticals, hospitals and practices, Pamela writes marketing medical copy. She specializes in training material for doctors and patient education material.
